How does MetrePay work?

MetrePay is a tool that allows you to make collections fully digital and remote. With a payment link, your client registers their debit or credit card to make one-time payments or automatic debits. Then you receive your collections directly in your bank account.

Do I need a website to use MetrePay?

No, MetrePay has a web portal from which you can generate payment requests and send them to your clients by WhatsApp, email, or the channel you prefer.

Is it safe to make payments with MetrePay?

Yes! We operate under the PCI DSS requirements, so card data is protected under processor-grade security. At MetrePay we do not store any data associated with the card or the cardholder directly.

How can I monitor my payments and transactions?

With MetrePay you have a company profile available on the web. From there you can monitor all your payments and collections in real time, and also generate reports by date and payment method.

Can I use MetrePay to receive payments from abroad?

Yes! With MetrePay you can receive payments from foreign customers through PayPal or international cards. Your settlements are deposited directly into your local bank account.

How long does it take for payments to be credited?

Payments made with local debit cards are deposited on the next business day, and payments with local credit cards are deposited two business days after the transaction.

Can I integrate MetrePay with my online store?

Yes! MetrePay has an API and webhooks available to integrate with your applications or website. We also offer a WooCommerce plugin for WordPress stores.

What happens if a payment couldn't get processed on the established date?

MetrePay's automatic debit system automatically retries periodically until scheduled payments are up to date. You can also access detailed reports on the reasons for the denials to make follow-up easier.

Can I receive payments in different currencies?

Yes! Your foreign customers can pay in USD, EUR, and other currencies. You can then receive the funds in your local GuaranĂ­ or USD bank account, depending on your setup.

To use MetrePay, you don't need to download any app, and neither do your customers. Payment links open directly in the browser so the full process can be completed online.
